How many trips will I need, and how long do I stay?
First trip
A stay of 5 to 8 days, beginning on the first day with clinical, radiographic and photographic assessment, and digital planning with an intraoral scan. Surgery and placement of the provisional prosthesis take place on the second or third day.
Surgery can be carried out under local anaesthetic or with conscious sedation. Medication is prescribed according to your medical history, and all dietary recommendations and hygiene instructions are given on the same day.
For the remaining days you are seen regularly, up to the day before you travel, for your final post-operative appointment.
Second trip (3 months+)
A stay of 8 to 10 days. The first day covers clinical examination and an intraoral scan for the digital planning of the definitive fixed prosthesis, designed around your own preferences — which can be based on photographs or reference images you bring with you.
Over the remaining days the try-ins are carried out and the prostheses fitted, before you return home.
